The loose fit medieval dress used lateral geren and floor length. The geren are wedge-shaped pieces of fabric that give the garment in the Middle Ages their wide width.
The neckline has a slit in the front center and can be adjusted with a ribbon. The sleeve seams can also be gathered with ribbons.
The gathered neckline is found in the archaeological fragment from Pykov in Russia. This is dated to the 10th century.
The dress is made of plain cotton & Polyester and can be worn as an undergarment or overgarment. The white and natural colors are slightly transparent to backlighting.
For example, if the dress is combined with a bonnet and an apron or an overcoat, the result is a harmonious costume for a maid.
